Women Employability Summit is an annual summit that CATD arrange every year to address Sustianable Development Goals i.e Goal# 4: Quality Education Goal# 5: Gender Equality Goal# 8: Decent work and Economic Empowerment Goal#17 Partnerships to acheive the goals. The Summit brings togather more than 60 local and national employers, 15+ women institutions of khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 30+ experst and speakers and 1200 young girls to partner and help young girls know about the job market, meet with the employers and network, get trained by the experts and get on the campus employement oppertunities which employers bring to the summit every year to hire young girls within the campus.

Goal # 4 Quality Education

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is extremism and terrorism stricken in the past decade and most part of it underdeveloped where women have less access to education and those who have access,  the education is not of quality and has skill gap. CATD through Women Employability Summit is striving hard to work with women institutions help young girls learn market needs based employability skills and knowledge and be more employable after graduation, understand entrepreneurship and can be self-employed even if there are less employment opportunities.

Goal # 5 Gender Equality

Gender equality is achieved when women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunities across all sectors of society, including economic participation and decision-making, and when the different behaviors, aspirations and needs of women and men are equally valued and favored. WES  brings employers to interact with the young girls and partner with the women educational institutions to provide employment opportunity to the young talented girls as the number of women in the job sector are less. WES highlights gender equality as women participation in job sector help economy grow.

Goal # 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth

Decent work and Economic Growth conditions are also required for women and there needs to be increased access for women to financial services to manage incomes, accumulate assets and make productive investments. It will reduce unemployment levels in women population in the different part of KP. WES bring all key stakeholders to interact with young women, train them, hire them and make them participate in the economic growth.

Goal #17 Partnerships to Achieve the Goals

A successfully sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector, and civil society. WES is makings such partnerships to build the shared vision and shared goals for the women social and economic empowerment through skill development, employment opportunities and entrepreneurship.
