WES18 Peshawar

Women Employability Summit 2018 impact was held on 31st Jan & 1st Feb, 2018 where more than 1200 girls from different women institutions, 60 employers from the local job sectors participated, 150 employment opportunities were shared with the graduates and young girls and 120 job interviews were conducted during the summit and 25 leading industry experts and speakers spoke at the summit. In pre-summit training workshops 2000 young girls were equipped with Employability skills in different female institutions.

Women Employability provides young girls a highly-engaging, effective and interactive experience that results in a powerful learning outcome by acquiring new skills and market knowledge, know about and get employment opportunities and networking with job sector and experts. The key learning segments of the Women Employability Summit are;

Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership: Join successful and influential women who will share their experiences and offer advice on building entrepreneurial ecosystems across the globe, accessing capital, fostering diverse talent, and what it takes to be an effective leader.

How To Accelerator Your Accelerator Experience: This session explores how a women can make the most of her acceleration experience by discussing what makes a great accelerator; how to choose an accelerator; when not to choose acceleration, and how best to leverage the acceleration experience

Employability Skill: Employability skills or are the key to workplace success so we equip young girls with key Employability skills to be ready for the workplace and be more employable.

Women Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurship is an effective way to help young girls be self-employable and create local employment to play role in socio-economic development of the community.

Drafting Blueprints For A Beyond-Better World: This segment focuses on female social entrepreneurs to learn catalyzing big, systems change by leveraging a range of investment models, approaches, and tools, and working with government, corporate, and civil society partners to scale their solutions.

How To Sustain by Manage Growth: Engaging, educating and empowering youth and women entrepreneurs to accelerate the growth of technology industries in emerging markets. Resources and tools to successfully push your company to the next level of growth

Career Selection and Career Planning: Through the summit and its series of interventions we help young girls define their career choices and plan their career to be more successful with a defined destiny.

Speed Networking: Networking activity with participants, organizations and business community to make participant understanding the concept of networking leaders.

VENUE OF WES18

Venue of Women Employability Summit was Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar which is the first Public Sector Women University in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & the largest provider of female education in the province. The student enrollment in the University is around 5000 in more then 20 different departments belonging from different backgrounds and cities from across KP and FATA . In addition to this, 16 colleges have become affiliated with the University with more than 5000 registered students.
