Fifth Women Employability Summit was held on 13th and 14th January, 2020 at Government Girls Degree College Hayatabad No. 1 where more than 1000 participants from different women institutions, multiple digital employment opportunities were shared with the graduates and young girls during the summit and 8 leading industry experts and speakers spoke at the summit.
The overall goal of the Women Employability Summit – Peshawar was to increase employability for women in KP
- To help young girls be more employable, network with job sector and get employment opportunities and be socially and economically empowered
- To provide training on employability skills, entrepreneurship and career to 1200, college, university students and graduated girls from universities and colleges in KP
- To work for and achieve SDG’s Goal #4: Quality Education Goal #5: Gender Equality Goal #8: Decent work and Economic Growth and Goal #17 Partnership to achieve the goals.
- To facilitate job placement/internships of 200 graduate students from 05 selected women-based universities and colleges in KP with potential employers in public and private sector.
